frequently asked questions
Q: Why do I need to book a photo shoot so far in advance?
A: Each photo shoot, whether for a guy or girl, involves scheduling a team of professionals: Photography, make-up, hair stylist, fashion stylist, and as needed, shooting venue. Our experience has been that it takes three weeks advance notice in order to get these schedules locked in.
Q: What kind of clothing should I bring to the shoot?
A: We've found that the more you bring of your favorite clothing, the better. The more you bring, the more choices our fashion stylist will have, and the better you'll be presented in your photos. Think outside the box - Rain boots? Perfect! Hats? Gloves? Scarves? 20 pairs of shoes? Absolutely! Bring it all!
Q: What kind of day should I expect?
A: In a single word: FUN. For the time you'll spend with us, you'll experience the "A-team" professionals each doing precisely what they live and love to do. After all, that's why they're on board. There'll be no end to the refreshments, hot music, and high energy during your time with us.
Q: How long till I get my images?
A: The first place you'll see a few images is on our blog and facebook fan page. Then in approximately two weeks, all your images will be ready for viewing.
Q: Can I invite family and friends to my photo shoot?
A: It depends. If you are in the least bit inhibited or affected in an any way, even the slightest bit, by having a friend or family member present, then please just meet up with them after the shoot. After all you'll have a fresh makeover and will be ready to go out on the town. We've found that parents usually, not always, but usually affect the model somewhat. It's important that the model is out of his or her shell and can be his or herself in front of the camera and is connected to the photographer and only the photographer. Inviting family or friends to your shoot needs to be considered carefully.
Q: What kind of products do you offer?
A: We can create magazines, greeting cards, couture books, music videos including behind the scenes footage, and we print in house up to 24 x 36 inches.
Q: Can I own the rights to my images?
A: Yes! Your images on a 100 year gold DVD with full rights is available Ala Carte
Q: How should I prepare for the shoot?
A: Don't party the night before and get a full nights sleep. Eat a small meal before you come. Come with a clean face and clean hair. Skip the tanning bed or day by the pool.
We're looking forward to your shoot!
